Fotbal

Fotbal, commonly known as soccer in some countries, is a team sport that involves two teams of eleven players each, playing with a spherical ball on a rectangular field. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting the ball into the opposing team’s net. Players primarily use their feet to kick the ball, but they may also use any part of their body except their hands and arms, with the exception of the goalkeeper, who can use their hands within the penalty area. The game is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, which are maintained by the International Football Association Board (IFAB).

Fotbal is one of the world’s most popular sports, with a massive following and a rich history of tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championship, and club competitions like the UEFA Champions League. The sport promotes teamwork, strategic thinking, and physical fitness, and it serves as a significant cultural and social phenomenon across the globe, uniting fans and communities.
